I got to give gift for my dad… I myself had huawei band 6 that I quite liked at fraction of price. Long story short I am now using it and I gave my huawei band 6 to my dad. It would have been too embarassing to give this as a gift. Here is why:
– sync. Weather keeps showing older temp. You need to keep on opening huawei app periodically to sync. Imagine looking at stake weather information.!
– none of the face available are good enough whether paid or not. Seems like no developer is interested in making watch face for a watch that sells in small number. Huawei band 6 has far better choices. Even from the same developer.!
– heavy. Though material used are nice but it is heavy. You will be aware of the size and weight while exercising or sleeping. Again band 6 does much better. Yes, it has gps… But then I compared outdoor cycling with wahoo app. Basically useless. It showed 1/3 calories burnt when I was doing exercise at almost HIIT intensity. Obviously wahoo app had advantage of much better heart rate tracks and gps of phone is way better. But 1/3 or 66% difference? Totally unreliable.
And for some reason the best sleep tracker I have is honor band 4. This one and band 6 (huawei) both tend to register reading in bed as nap. Band 4 never did that. Sleep tracking is acceptable though. Just don’t read or lie down in bed otherwise it will register it as nap.
Heart rate is accurate except when it goes way high. My band 4 never registered beyond 139. This one went upto 152 and band 6 is about similar. Wahoo correctly showed all the way upto 186 that matched with the intensity of exercise.
I highly recommend band 6 from Huawei. This one? Absolutely not. It doesn’t even compare to band 6 which costs just 20% or less of this watch price.! And band 6 is far more practical.

This “SERIOUSLY PREMIUM DESIGN ” actually deserves FIVE STARS but for not supplying the same with LEATHER BAND , Huawei should have added at least a spare leather band as it does in other countries here it goes
1) Software -smoothest SOFWARE experience deserves 10 / 10
2) Appearance – Seriously Premium Design on par with likes of Apple / Samsung etc., 9 /10 but for leather band , i have used my own leather band see image how enhanced the looks are
3) Charging and back up 9/ 10 , reasonably fast wireless charging , back up, expect about 7 – 8 days not tested yet
4) Display and Glass 10 /10 – beautiful OLED bright enough – Glass seems SAPPHIRE perfect fusion of metal and glass , Sapphire Glass is supposedly better than Gorilla , it is heat treated unlike gorilla by chemical process
5) CASE 10 / 10 beautifully machined TITANUM looks awesome
6) Tracking 10 / 10 , The inbuilt accelerometer / Gyro is perfect , the step count can distinguish from actual walking and driving very well like wise barometer calculates stair climb very well , it can distinguish going UP by Lift and climbing stairs very well
7) HR – 9 /10 – quite accurate compared with OMRON BP apparatus
8) Notifications – 8/ 10 not all are interactive
9) Spo2 – 9 /10 quite accurate , compared with well known oxy meters
Huawei made a few great looking wearables in the past too but GT2 pro could be one of the best looking smartwatches on the scene
CLOSE YOU EYES AND GO FOR IT !! will not regret

The smartwatch build is of premium quality. Battery life is also good. I used it for 5 days on single charge.

My review is after 3.5 months of usage. I wear it every day. Sleep, physical activities, SPO2, timers, alarms, stress, heart rate, and torch functionality of this watch are daily used ones.
Here are its good bad and ugly parts which I observed.
Best:
1. Battery life is more than 10+ days. Nowadays I have started using its always-on display. Still, it keeps running for 7+ days.
2. Premium look. Everyone asks about it.
3. Its glass is scratch-proof. There are zero scratches till today.
4. Sleep tracking is a cool tech provided by this watch. This watch knows how much I sleep, how deep is my sleep, and if sleep gets interrupted it records
Good:
1. Auto activity tracking
2. Compass and altitude meter
3. Offline path tracker
4. Find phone feature is useful for me 😀
Bad:
1. SPO2 reading mismatch with oximeter device.
2. Alarm and ring vibration is on the soft side.
3. Had to purchase leather strap separately.

I’ve bought this smartwatch solely because I prefer round-shaped watches. Although a bit overpriced, it does its job well. It connects to iPhone without any hassle. A good purchase overall.

If you’re looking for an amazing looking watch that will tell you time but can double as the odd fitness tracker – the Watch GT 2 Pro should be near the top of your list

Well what can I say about the GT 2 pro premium build quality smart watch.
Out of the box this watch feels solid and is quite classy.
Titanium body and saphire Glass means that it’s well capable of taking everyday knocks.
Waterproof to 50 mtrs so this means that you can shower swim submerse your watch to your hearts content.
The watch also sports a external speaker and is pleasantly clear when playing music through the watch. It has enough to store up to 500 songs of your choice.
Also accepts ear buds too so if your out jogging then this is a fantastic addition. This is a decent sized wrist watch with many customisable faces and covers a multitude of sports indoors or out.
Really easy to get around its features and with a crystal amoled display.
Am I smitten with this wonderful timepiece you bet.
Fantastic price even makes this watch a mint addition.
