I had told service man who came for installation that i just wanted a Washing machine Stand which cost me 1475/- they tried to sell me below things
1. there argument was i must install the Water softner (1800/-) or else the life of Washing Machine will drastically reduce.
2. they told its Mandatory to descale the washing Machine before use but in manual its written use the descale (170/- per packaet) after 40 washes. They sold me 4 packets after lots of debating and they used 3 instantly on spot draining 680/- rupees in the drain.
3. Washing Powder – They told i should use only IFB recommended Washing powder which cost somewhere around 170 rupees.
4. Washing Machine Cover – They tried to sell the Washing Machine Cover on phone even before they came for installation. they were asking for my old washing machine cover whether that fits this new Washing Machine or not
i wanted to give 5 stars for quick delivery and quick installation but the “sales” experience made me give 3 stars. i feel its ok to show the products and explain the benefits but forcefully selling the products is a no no. people will end up shelling out 5000 rupees more if they end up buying these additional products. if necessary then sure buy.
they were “service expert” or “sales experts” ? 🙂

I had purchased IFB front load washing machine. After 7 days use inlet pipe water leakage. I have lunch complaint in customer care. His service engineer denite to replace the pipe. Pipe will chargeable. It’s not cover machine warranty.

The machine looks fantastic. But the only hiccup is the installation process. The installation is tiresome and expensive. Expect atleast additional cost of installation for ₹5000!!

Amazon delivered the product well packaged and on time even in May 2020. Given the covid Conditions IFB managed to install it withing 72 hours . Am satisfied with the product till now . There were initially vibration issues which got resolved by the after sales team . If you have water with high iron content one has to invest in a iron filter which neatly fits into the machine . The stand is an added cost

Machine is good. Value for money.
Hard to find new models on Amazon but i found with specific model name.
Got it in cheap price in compare to local Market even cheaper than ifb point price.
Only problem is that delivery assign to Delhivery(india’s biggest fraud logistics company)
