Once you figure out the right dough pliability for the gadget, it churns out good rotis consistently. Easy to clean and maintain.

On display with Amazon, product is advertised as JDRM-901 1000W while delivered model is JJRM-900 900W.
Hand kneading machine is not supplied with the roti maker as shown with delivery status photo.
Coating is of American Heritage not Weilburger Germany coating.
No company-Jaipan metal plate on the item.

We bought this item after watching a demo of a different brand which was much more expensive. I searched online and found the best bargain at Amazon. As I had been hearing of ”Jaipan” brand for a long time, I decided to buy this one. The workmanship on the appliance is alright but there is paucity of an instruction booklet. We are still trying by hit and trial method and managed to make some ‘Rotis’ after making ‘Pappars’ initially. For your information, rotis need to be soft while pappars are stiff!

Pros:
A simple, easy and fast-to-make roti maker. Be a bit patient in the beginning . You will need 4-5 trials to get the right combination.
Cons:
Dont follow the tips of the demo CD provided by the supplier. You will only get disheartened.
Search for a you-tube demo in the internet on how to use the roti-maker.
Water content in the dough matters the most as well as the top-lid closing time initially.
It is indeed a real shocker that the company is not even aware of the safety hazard that this item presents.
The coil between both the top & bottom plates is totally exposed with no covering. Anyone can get an electric shock accidentally.
The company has neither displayed a caution-sign on the roti-maker nor in the booklet.
Shows how ignorant the company is regarding the safety of the user.

3 Star : Product is as stated on detail description. Amazon service is quick and amazing. Coming to Roti maker, if you want a durable roti maker than Jaipan is the first and last choice. Though, price is edgy and should be on likes of 1000 – 1100.
Other than that Good product.
As a user, you will struggle making good rotis for few days. So please take a piece of advice and watch few videos on you tube before you have an hands on experience with it. I too struggled for quiet a few days, wasted kilos of atta before i finally found the trick.
Taste is not as good as hand made rotis. However, it’s not bad either. Also if you eat right away(hot) after having made just now. It’s good otherwise roti gets tight.

The media could not be loaded.
Make dough with oil and make balls ,flat them using belan to little expand it and then press into roti maker then it will be thin and perfectly flat , then roast .always use oil for making dough then rotis will be soft and good.

Recently purchased this roti maker. Prior to purchase I read the reviews. Most of them were not good. At first attempt roti I made was bad asthe other people said. But iI kept trying. Little trick and technical thing is that u have to prepare attack of correct consistency. Little loose than what we generally prepare. And as the roti is roster from both side . u have to do another most trick is that when u are preparing (pressing ) roti surfaces should not too hot. So wipe both surfaces with wet clothe to correct the surface ttemperature. Don’t try to press proto most in one attempt. At fist press little that roti will be at its half size . then chance the face and press finelly. Prior to switch little oil should be applied to only bottom surface. While when roti is being heated steam of oil do all trick as we seen in TV ad.. Believe nice rotis and more testy rpties are prepared with this apps.

No one can make a roti in this so called “Roti Maker”. The advertisement shown in video is tricky. I have tried with all type of dough. and as per specified process for 25 times. Best part is when you unpack this Amazon is not going to take back. This is in contradiction to the advertise shown in Television. The clause read as “All Electronics which includes the categories: Mobiles & Accessories, Cameras & Photography, Portable Media Players, Car & Vehicle Electronics, Computers, Components & Accessories, Hi-fi & Home Audio, Home Theatre, TV & Video and Telephones must be returned in new and unopened condition with all accessories and original packing intact and unopened. These items must also have the serial number or UPC intact. The UPC number is a sequence of 12 digits below the barcode that is unique to each product.”………….
BE AWARE BE SAFE.
