Bought these as an upgrade from SHP9600’s, the clarity isn’t even in the same ballpark. I have been listening to way more music now just because of how good they sound. They definitely sound better on an amp as well. Pretty comfortable as well, built like a tank. As other reviewers say, they are a bit top heavy but I don’t notice it much. For the price I paid, there is no better deal out there.

I’ve had these for around 3 months, they sound more detailed and punchy than the ATH-M50 headphones I’m replacing, They have a flatter but still unique sound signature compared to my Airpods pro, the sound I would say is in-between closed back and open back, still does an amazing job of giving you an immersive experience while letting just enough sound in to know if someone is talking/yelling. Moderate amount of sound blead, and you definitely can’t hear what they said, but that slight open back touch opens the soundstage just enough to keep the listening experience feeling close to the chest but detailed and interesting, and these headphones are very receptive to EQ, so with Dolby atoms or a bass boost the experience is great! I really think that Mackie’s experience in making outdoor equipment comes across and the listening experience feels more like I’m at a live concert with really good Mackie speakers, I’m sure there are better headphones out there out of the box, but they stack up to anything under 400 from ATH, and don’t have any issues with sibilance, which tends to be a problem for me and can be an issue with monitoring style headphones, but these are a step up from the Audio Technica M50 Headphones I’ve used for the past 11 years and that includes build quality, I expect at some point to have to change out the earpads, but this and the M50’s are the mechanical keyboards of headphones, they just never seem to die. Personally I love the most up to date tech, but for a daily driver at my desk I want dependable sound that will definitely work for the next 10 years +, has beefy and versatile sound, is comfortable for long durations, and durable, these check all the boxes! Plus with wireless headphones Bluetooth is still introducing a point where there could be connection issues, firmware updates, outdated versions over time, etc. Physical copper connections are very reliable it turns out and there’s no battery to worry about. Love them!

Well I just opened up my package, it was supposed to be a new unopened box, but I got a used already open one. It’s also missing a cord as well. Whack especially considering I paid for a new one. At least it smells new, so there’s that.

Los recibí un día antes de la fecha programada.
