I’ve enjoyed this brand of earbuds, so much as that I’ve bought them over again once I’ve ended up breaking my previous pair. However, with some of the newer purchases of these earbuds, I’ve consistently had the issue with the left earbud being MUCH louder than the right earbud. Any sort of instrument, as well as bass, is much louder and defined in the left earbud than it is in the right one. I’m currently using the earbuds switched (L earbud in right ear, R earbud in left ear) and with the volume adjusted to be louder in the right, as the sound quality is still extremely good for the price.
I’ve also meddled with the gummy part of the earbuds and switched them out for different ones, as the right one did would not sit comfortably in my ear no matter how much I adjusted it. Even with this, I can still tell the very obvious difference in the sound between the two. I don’t know if I’m just crazy, or if my ears are messed up, but that’s just my experience. These cost me ten dollars and some change, so I’m just gonna suck it up, they still work very well!

I had previously purchased a pair of black Maxells with the inline mic from a brick-and-mortar. Found what I thought to be the same earphones, but in white here on Amazon. Since the price was relatively inexpensive, I bought two pair.
Pros
– Good form and fit
– Excellent price
Cons
– Too much bass for podcasts, which is my primary listening activity.
