Volume is a bit weak. Best to use in a quiet environment.

These are great for low-volume settings, like a well-insulated vehicle. But I bought them for my kids to wear on a flight, which immediately backfired — you can barely hear anything at all for them.
In general, I LOVE the idea that the kids could listen to these with very little supervision and not damage their hearing. The color-coding was fun for them as well.

We needed headphones for school after a pair of Sony ones were shot in 3 months. My kids like these. They are like the old-fashioned ones that used to come with a Walkman. I don’t let my kids use earbuds to save their hearing, but they like these bc they are not huge like the over the ears headphones. They also liked being able to pick the colored discs they wanted on each side.
