The power, the flexibility. I had no idea!
I have always had problems with occasional drops in network connectivity in my home network. It has 4-6 VLAN’s that is routed through 4 AP and to some managed switches. The house has a fiber connection. I have tried several routers and other equipment, but never really had any success.
With this thing though, I took the fiber module from the city gateway and plugged it in to this router. From there I have put in all (more even) VLANS, lots and lots of routings and rules in the firewall. I peak the load at about 2-3% CPU. It is so stable, so fast. I have FULL speed, everywhere, always!
Be mindful that it is a clear step up/away from SOHO routers, it’s way more complicated. But if you can manage: It can do everything!
