Great pics compared to my old phone, nice smooth refreshment of screens as I scroll around, more memory than I ever thought I would have, the stylus which I haven’t got the hang of & best of all at a great price. What’s not to love?

Bonjour,
Malheureusement je n’ai pas trouvé la carte SD 256 GO qui devait être comprise dans l’appareil.
Zaara –
The phone is little slower but the features are great for daily usage.
Jack DeKok –
Like transfer and stylus
Dislike it’s heavier than last Motorola

I purchases this phone the other day, after seeing a variant in Costco, I went online and ordered the non-5g variant for cheaper. I was in need of a new phone, cheap one, out of contract, after breaking my Pixel 7 Pro.
I was lured in by the battery, the display, high refresh rate, 1080p display, and the stylus. It had the basics of what, I thought, I needed. And most importantly, the price was too good. $200 for a crazy phone? Count me in.
But what I expected, and what I received, are very different. First, the pros and cons.
PROS:
– 1080p screen
– Decent feeling build quality
– Large battery
– Cheap
– Stylus is thin and metallic, feels nice/solid
CONS:
– Performance. CPU and RAM are completely obsolete and underpowered. Completely unable to multitask, and screen is so choppy the refresh rate and HD+ display that is marketed, doesn’t even matter
– Slow charging
– Camera is slow, and poor quality
– stylus is extremely basic. Don’t expect accuracy, pressure sensitivity, or any stylus sensors
– everything else is poor quality.
The reality of this phone is the following:
It doesn’t matter how good the display is, how good it looks, and how fast the refresh rate is, when the processor and memory is TRASH. When the phone lags, and is choppy doing any minor task, that 90hz refresh rate is completely irrelevant. The display is fine, but the performance was so bad, it couldn’t load a 360p YouTube music video without constantly chopping the video in and out.
With that being said, I would not recommend this phone under any circumstance. Even for the price. Even just typing a single text message, with no background apps open, the keyboard would stutter, and there was a 5 second delay between pressing send, and the message sending. And a 5 second delay to open apps.
I don’t know if my device was defective… perhaps, or it was just extremely noticeable and poor quality. If you are coming from a top grade flagship phone, this won’t suffice, this is an EXTREME step down. I would go so far as recommending the Galaxy note 10 over this. Even though it’s 5 years older, it will perform better, and have a better camera.
Good luck everyone, definitely consider an older flagship at a similar price, or try the Samsung A-series, like the A52
