A product from the OG King of Foldables, Razr is back and how for a brand loved and adored by early adopters of this iconic brand Motorola.

We all have our sceptism purchasing a folding phone especially at the price point it is at but just a day in, I call it the King of Foldables and finally a product to give Samsung a run for it’s money and bring it’s dominance down!!!

Samsung has got the cash and resources to go out to wipe out competition but they will need to learn the art of innovation from “smaller” players like Moto, Oppo and the others if they still want to be called “Kings of Foldables”.

Go hands down on this device since it ticks a lot of boxes for an early adopter and tech enthusiast!

Cheers and it’s time to say “Hello Moto” 🙂

    Updated review: I’m disappointed
Everyone who got the phone when launched initially feel cheated, as Amazon is now giving a 2k discount coupon, plus extra on exchange. I didn’t get both, else I would’ve saved at least 15k….
Very much disappointed since it has not even been a month of launch. I would be happy if there’s a way to return my phone and order again with 15k discount.

    An amazing phone altogether!!!
I ordered the Motorola 40 Ultra at 12pm and received it by 8pm in the first sale and as expected I’m loving it. There is absolutely no need to open the phone for any usage. Almost all the apps which we use day-to-day can be accessible via the external display.
I’ve used the Moto Razr from early 2000 but Ultra is my first a flip smartphone. Loved it then, love it now.
For me (and many of us), it’s a very high budget phone but I had to get it no matter what!! lol
Battery is bit on the cons since it doesn’t come for a full day with normal usage.
Before the launch, I seen few video where they mentioned as there won’t be any difference on the folding space in the middle of the phone but I can see and feel the gap much. I’m okay with that as long as there won’t be any issues later on.

    Viva Magenta is gorgeous 🥰
Nicely fit in your palm, great to use external display. It’s worth doing show off.

Coming to review part, I have been using Galaxy Note 9 for past 4.5 years and seriously you cannot compete with One UI and Samsung features. I agree razr is a new era design, kinda cool but at the end of the day we all look of what’s in the device.

Camera – Even though it’s 5 years (if I’m not wrong), camera hardware is far better than razr. Both supports 4k but the color, stability, quality is easily visible.

Phone app – missing the One UI here which supports msg/reminder/last call data when you get a call. Even few stock Android features are missing here.

From basic bar shaped to flip, it’s a big jump but looking at camera and few features which I lost here in razr I really don’t see it a upgrade I made.

Battery life – using for maybe 30mins during office hours, listening to music and YouTube content back to home still leaves me with 50% by EOD.

Gallery – there is default gallery which sucks. The one in Samsung offers you a lot of customisation for media view, to edit them, to lock them. It’s so easy there, with just few clicks you will be ready with your edited photo/video.
While you can trim, add medias in Samsung gallery, I do not find anything as such in default.

If you didn’t had a great hardware before like I mentioned above, I strongly suggest to think before.

What do I think??? Not worthy for this price.

    Happy flippin’😝😉

This is the second time I’ve encountered an issue with Amazon sending me a used item. The phone I received had a broken seal, and I even found fingerprints on the phone screen. After reaching out to Amazon support, they initiated a replacement process, but unfortunately, they were unable to complete the delivery for some inexplicable reason. Frustrated with the situation, I eventually decided to cancel the order and request a refund. This ordeal involved multiple calls to their customer service, and the entire process took longer than expected. These incidents have left me hesitant about purchasing expensive electronics from Amazon in the future.

In the end, I opted to purchase the phone from a nearby shop, and here’s my feedback on the device itself:

While I received a free cover with the phone, it’s worth noting that you’ll need to open the cover whenever you want to charge your phone.

    1) The cover provided seems a bit slippery, making it feel somewhat risky to handle.

    2) I charged my phone at 9:00 AM, and throughout the day, I used it for roughly 3 hours. By 9:00 PM, the battery had dropped to 10%. I had hoped for a longer battery life.

    3) In terms of aesthetics, the phone looks really impressive.

    4) The operating system provides a smooth and enjoyable user experience.

    5) Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the phone, except for the battery life.

    6) Occasionally, the phone tends to heat up, but it’s manageable for me.

    7) The back screen of the phone is truly remarkable.

In conclusion, despite the challenges with the Amazon order, I’m happy with the phone itself, except for its battery life, which falls short of my expectations.

Got this beauty on 16th July and after 10 days of usage and watching several review videos, I can say it’s a great device. Love the front display 3.6 inch display…few app’s UI isn’t compatible but nevertheless you can do 90% of your stuff using the front display.
    Few callouts
Not using this device as a primary phone as of now but whenever I spent long hours on this the battery seems to drain out pretty quickly so a 3700 mah could have been increased
Camera could have been a tad better…low light photos are average
All in all its a magnificent device..I know galaxy z flip 5 launched couple of days back but looking at the initial specs and price Moto Razr is a clear winner but waiting for a detailed comparison of the two phones.
