A sturdy regular kettle for daily use.
#Pros:
-high quality stainless steel body
-easy on electricity bills .. thanks to it’s just 650W consumption
-Easy to clean due to wide opening
– Can be used to boil eggs and to cook Maggie along with heating water.
#Cons:
-small connecting lead.
-takes time in boiling water even if temperature set is high
– bottom inside of kettle can get tarnish due to bubbles evolved during heating
– kettle lid is not stainless.. it can get rust if remain wet n moist for long run
– not very handy for touring purpose

I have used this electic kettle for around 5 years.It is very nice product and value for money. Very handy, easy to clean and if anyone looking to buy electric kettle then go for it.

Edit, dated April 25 2023: I bought the kettle in 2016 and it is still working great. I have graduated to using this for making rice daily. I would highly recommend this kettle to anyone who is looking to buy an electric kettle in this budget, especially hostellers, because you can get a tonne of use out of it with a little creativity.

It’s a great product.
Although there are a few problems-
1. Handle the product carefully when connected, as the metallic part of the outer body tends to give shocks.
2. The base of the kettle is prone to sticking. Hence, care must be taken to avoid burning of foodstuff.
I have, as of yet, boiled water in it(great), boiled eggs,
made noodles(stuck at the bottom)
and boiled milk(stuck at the bottom)
But as a whole, it’s a good product.
The detachable lid and temperature controls are great features.
Looking forward to using this kettle for other things too.
I’d definitely recommend it.

I recently got transferred and I am staying in a PG. I needed this one mainly for one purpose, making tea. Later on I used it for many purposes like warming milk, heating food, preparing Maggi, pasta, boiling eggs, making soup and so on. At every point it satisfied me. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the stainless steel quality is not of top grade, and the regulator is very very tiny. One of my friend has ordered this as well, and he is satisfied too. One point of advice, never leave your kettle while boiling milk, and frequently stir it with a spoon.

I got the product on time .. was ok..my major intention was boiling.. which it does.. i never tried cooking noodles and all.. it worked for a month and water started leaking. i had to replace it. since it was out of 15 days amazon warranty i had to take it to the customer service dept of its, which was a hectic job. they dont have a pick up n drop services.. that was pathetic. it took a lot of time to get it replaced. And to my surprise the new product which i got was better than the previous one. so all the wait was worth… even the leakage is stopped. so for the product i give 4 stars but was replacement services of ORPAT i will give 2 starts only. Please check the picks before and after replacement. So if anyoneis planning to buy i would say its alrite to try once.. not tht bad…..

The first time I got it, the lower panel of the kettle was broken. However it was replaced by the seller in few days. I have been using it for few weeks now and I am satisfied with it. I have made tea, boiled milk and eggs, and also made maggi and oats. Faced no problems as such except that the milk or maggi tended to stick to the base of kettle but again being steel-bodied its very easy to wash. Its worth investing money on and good for bachelors and hostelers. Finally just need to be very careful with the lid as its made up of glass, might break if not taken care of.

I had ordered this kettle in 2015 when I stayed in hostel …it is still working fine till now. It gets automatically turned off when heated too much, and then you have to wait till it comes back to normal temperature. But this happens rarely when we cook heavy items. Otherwise it is great for boiling milk, eggs, tea, Maggi.

Good product. It can be used for boiling the milk, water and can be used for preparing Noodles as well. However, one side of the coil gets too hot and if you leave the noodles without stirring for sometime, it will get burnt near that part and will stick to the surface. Cleaning the product is also not so easy since the removable part still has got the switch and dock point which connects to the power port which i would say is a big negative for this product.
