I can understand its tough for some people to accept the fact that not everyone just wants bass in their earphones/headphones. These are an excellent pair of earphones. I can guarantee you that you won’t be able to find such mids, vocals, and sparkly highs in this price range like these earphones offer. Bass is more of quality than quantity.
The build quality is quite sturdy for the price. Even though the earphones casing looks metal it isn’t actually metal. Its just painted plastic. But thats not a bad thing as I have thrown them around and they are holding up perfectly. The L shaped 3.5 mm connector is also well made.
Coming back to the sound signature, no doubt these are overall bright in sound reproduction. They have zero sibilance, with excellent mids and vocal clarity. The highs are sparkling and crisp.
Comfort is the biggest con of these earphones. They create a lot of wire noise and a bit of vaccum in your ears. Even though wire noise is a common problem for all silicone ear tips in ear speakers but the vaccum is not. For some this can be a deal breaker. I can use them comfortably only when I’m not moving around a lot.
Bottom line- If you are a bass head then you will not like these earphones, you’ll be better of with any of sony’s earphones.
But if you don’t just want bass in your music listening then these are a total gem in this price range. Thanks for reading.

I read a lot of reviews and got very skeptic about the product. It was an ordeal to go through all of those reviews but I ordered these at ₹545/- and I have to say that the bass is deep. People have said a lot of things about these earphones (that the soundstage is small, bass is muddy and treble is too high) but I didn’t notice these things (I would not say that I’m an audiophile and obviously, everyone’s idea of sound is subjective). I used Philips for the first time and the Treble and Bass is balanced like that of Sony. I ordered Smile Jamaica a week before purchasing these but they lack the deep bass. They have sort of Punchy Bass, hence, these earphones. These certainly are not disappointing for 500 bucks. If you want to compare these earphones… then that’s stupid. I have used Panasonic Deep Bass Fit, Smile Jamaica (with/without Mic), Sennheisers Cx 180 Street II, Cowon EM1 and M9 Pros and one thing I’ve learnt is that sound signatures of every company are different. These are bang for bucks. Go for them.
