I used to listen to these with my Sony Ericsson Walkman 580 cellphone.…yeah..thats old.. I can’t tell you the exact date but I will tell you they’re over 15 years old and I took the picture to prove it, you can see one is so old they’re dry rotted and faded I’ve used them all through Boot Camp when I was younger doing odd jobs in the sun all day long at one point I was spraying chemicals And thought they might melt but didn’t an stayed in my ears all day. They still work till this day but I just decided to see if they actually still make these because mine are so old I thought they would be discontinued but to my surprise they’re still going strong and very popular with people who want something that is reliabable that won’t let them down. I don’t have issues with wireless, but I know too many people that drop them and once they do they’re too hard to fine jogging or doing exercises getting stomped on so I prefer having a wire. You can run the wire inside of your jacket, shirt, or just use the clip, whatever works for you. I’m telling you now if you’re looking for something with great acoustics & surprisingly smooth base this is as crisp as you’re gonna get. And a little tip is I would put the largest cap size it comes with on them for added bonus. It comes with three sizes but the largest one has a hollow side that I think helps them sound even better once in your ear you’ll see what I mean.

after few days use giving this review…. in comparision with boat basshead200…. 1. its sound quality is much better than boat 2. wire it hav kevlar reinforced wire which is tangle free however boat have tangle free wire which is not too good in wire this one is better.. 3.. design in design boat is better because of its metal finish this one is also good but boat is better in design aspect 4. this headphones never fell off from your ears do whatever activies u like after wearing however boat fell off from ears due 2 heavy weight 5. this earphone is more power consuming than boat hence better will drain little faster in this phone 6.when u wear this earphone u almost forget u are wearing the earphone because its too light however boat is heavy 7. when comparing earphone matterial philips hav used cheap quality plastic nothing compare 2 jbl its very cheap however it make it light on other hand boat have better quality used product 8. no microphone in this set boat hav microphone 9. bass is better in boat than philips

final conclusion- if u need sound quality light weight better wiring nd for gym purpose go for this one beside u know u are not going 2 sit on ur earphone.. if u need little bit better battery life of phone nd going 2 sit on earphone and can compromise on sound quality nd wanna talk with freinds by using microphone or need style go for boat basshead 200

So I’ve been using these headphones for 3 months now, and thought it would be a good time to review it. I purchased these as a cheap, durable option for the gym, as my previous headphones (Cowon EM-1, and SoundMagic ES-18) died as a result of too much mishandling. In terms of durability, i think so far so good! The kevlar reinforcement that they market with might be durable after all. It fits well in my ears and is comfortable for short durations (around an hour), but definitely not as comfortable as in-ear headphones. I tried watching videos on the laptop with this but my ears started aching after watching too long.
As for the sound quality, it is AVERAGE at best. You wont get the BASS thump that you would get from an in-ear headphone, and the frequency response is boosted near the MIDs in my opinion. If you really press the earphones in deep with your fingers, you can hear the bass much better, but that is to be expected with all earphones with this kind of a design. A benefit of this however, is that sound doesnt get completely isolated and you can still hear cars and other vehicles around you if you plan to wear it on the streets.
    VERDICT:
These are pretty average earphones in terms of sound quality, but should give you the durability for sports and other activities. So if you want to sacrifice sound quality for a more durable product, this is for you. If you are an audiophile however, just stick to buying a cheap in-ear and dont worry about when it will stop working!

When positioned correctly in the ears, it delivers astoundingly clear sound. I absolutely recommend this.
On the downside however, they can break easy where the wires enter the earpieces. Be gentle with them.

A qualidade de som é boa, mas o produto é muito frágil, logo no primeiro uso as hastes do fone já quebraram, após colar, 2 dias depois quebrou em outro ponto. Não recomendo este produto.

Quality is as you can expect for the price. Not so great and definitely didn’t reach my expectations. I have Philips DJ Monitoring Style SHL3210 Stereo Headphones which are great! In fact, they are the best sounding headphones I ever came across. The best thing about them is that they’re really cheap yet doesn’t seem cheap at all (bought them for 1350/- on amazon, which made me think that even these earphones would be better as compared to their price). My pal told me that he liked my Philips DJ monitoring headphones better than his Sennheiser HD 201 and 202. I use them literally all the time except when I’m sleeping. I watch a lot of TV series and listen to a hell lotta music at night. So I needed earphones instead of DJ headphones. So, I bought Sennheiser MX 170. However, they get too loud on higher volumes and the sound cracks a lil bit. Nevertheless, they’re better than these. But the reason why I bought these are cuz you’d be getting snug fit with action fit earphones and they do not fall of from your ears. Yes, they did great in this aspect. And the reason why I didn’t get Sennheiser CX 180 or 213 is because I’m not a huge fan of in-ear earphones which goes inside ear-canal and makes me feel uncomfortable. A’right, I’ll give the pros and cons of these earphones now.

    Pros:
-They’re great at lower volumes (@ around 60-80% volume)
    -Decent bass, not so extraordinary
-Snug fit which is the best thing about these earphones
    -Great for usage during workouts
-3 sizes of earbuds to fit your ear perfectly
-Gold coated 3.5 mm headphone jack
    -Very light weight, feather-light!
-These earphones are a bang for the buck!
    -Funky color and style
    -Doesn’t look like tacky stuff

    Cons:
-Get too loud at higher volumes
-Cause a lil pain at higher volumes. DO NOT listen to music with these earphones for a lot of time
-Treble antagonises the bass. Simply saying treble is a bit too much (as much as there is bass, which, optimally, shouldn’t be)
-Decibel range is from 30 Hz to 20 Kilo Hz. So, you can’t listen to sounds of lower frequency (bass sounds). Keep in mind that if you need more bass in your head/earphones, you need to look for the lower range of frequency. Say, 20 Hz to 20 KHz. Lesser the lower extremity, more is the bass that you could appreciate. Lower frequencies are all about “appreciation” rather than actual hearing.
-Louder sounds are heard louder than they really are whereas quiet sounds couldn’t be heard that much (Yeah! You guessed it right! I’m all about the bass)
-Color of the wire is a bit too bright. So, they ain’t gonna match with all styles of clothing
-Not great for listening ambient sounds and bass music
    -Not for audiophiles

My perfect earphones (imaginary) would be something with the sound quality of Sennheiser CX 213 and comfort and price range of these earphones.

Suggestion/free advice: Get SENNHEISER CX 180 or 213 if you are an audiophile/ love in-ear earphones if you could pay a little extra. But they’re worth it! Get these if you need good/cheaper ones.
