When received the product missed a screw of a leg and all washers and pin and skewers. So ordered a replacement which came with missing screws, handle, pin and skewers. So had to return.

A good product from prestige. Metal thickness is not much but finishing is good and d grill is painted black, hope its nonstick. The assembly part is easy but it takes time and patience. But once assembled its a perfect balance between portability and usability . The lid , the tray grill all are very useful. Mine had a tiny dent on side but its okay as far as no paint is damaged.
The packing was just a transparent plastic wrap around the cardboard cartoon of the grill itself. Overall I liked the product verymuch as the quality was far better dan their other grill (ppbw04) . Size wise it okay, 40cm grill is more than enough for grilling a full size chicken.
Please use an aluminum foil on bottom of grill. And try not to burn the charcoal inside it. Use a chimney or burn it somewhere and tranfer the coal , otherwise it can damage the coating

If you have used a grill before, you should probably not expect a lot from this one, its the simplest one you can buy if you are used to charcoal grills.. but if you think about value for money and you are an intermediate grilled, this is the right combination of cost, portability, durability and cleanability.. I think it’s not so tough to clean if you use aluminium foil under the coal.. the spring stands are sturdy, but DO NOT try moving the grill around when you can’t lift it to reposition as the stands will snap shut in an instant.. something I learned the hard way..but still like I said if you are used to grilling and consider yourself an intermediate charcoal grilled, go for this one, it is a great value for money.

Started to look for a good portable grill to support my newfound desire for barbecuing. After some searching could not bring myself to purchase a US model for 8K esp. in India esp. when it sells for 50 $ on Amazon USA.
So next best option was Prestige (ignoring other basic or not so well described Chinese options). For under 2K, it sounded like a good investment to experiment.
The product packaging was pretty good, well above my expectations. Yes, the unit requires assembly but the instructions are very well written and all the small parts are coded and packed in blister pack. After about 30 min of basic nuts and bolts, the unit was ready.
The unit is quite sturdy, build quality is good. Has all the controls you would look for in a decent barbecue. Size is good enough for 8-10 chicken leg pieces with space in between for good heat transfer. Finish is good, no shape edges and good amount of chrome.
Used in several times now, results are quite satisfactory. ( have not used other more established brands, so cannot compare), but overall I am quite satisfied.Only area of improvement in my view is the connection of warming tray to the lid which keeps coming off and the overall fitting of the warming tray, which can surely be improved.
The unit would easily fit in your kitchen cabinet or storage area with the legs folded with a volume of a average school bag.

The delivery was fast by Amazon. I like this barbecue grill very much. Its portable and very easy to fold and carry like a briefcase (when not in use). We have enjoyed a few family barbecue parties at home with the extended family (see attached pics). I am planning for the next one with my friends on the rooftop to enjoy in the chilly winter.
The features of air vents on the side, on the top lid are very good and the warming rack. You can close the grill by folding the lid on the top and control the air flow by adjusting the side vents and top to control the amount of charcoal that will burn.
The only thing that I wish could have been better was the amount of space (height) available below the charcoal grill which would make it easier to light the charcoal in the grill itself. Also the base of the grill where the charcoal burns could have bee made out of heavier sheet metal to last even longer.
A very good product. Go for it.

It comes disassembled and it takes quite some diy skills and time to assemble it.but it’s easy.
We have used it 4-5 times and it works well …there is no paint issue on the undersurface as reported by others.we use aluminium foil to cover the base then place charcoal mesh.
Cooking time varies according to no. Of charcoals u use and what u r cooking…but it doesn’t take long.
Whenever u sit around it waiting for food to cook and everyone in family is together it creates a moment and dinner/picnic becomes special. So go for it ….also food cooked by barbecue is more healthy than traditional cooking.
Quality of product urself is also good and I think it will last long.
I will recommend this product by prestige …go for it u will not regret.

I planned to give 4 star as there was a bump on the oven but that hardly make a difference, now my review, it’s the best investment I have done in many years, you will get badly addicted to this grill, you will become a grill master, Taste cooked in grill is awsum, plus in covid time you don’t have to order any more outside food. Please put the aluminium foil first at the bottom, aluminium is a good conductor of heat and this will help raise temprature inside + it gives your grill a long life, after placing aluminium put a thin layer of sand on which I placed a two diya baati which help ignite the coal quickly and use some camphor and some small wood pieces which you can buy from hardware store, place all these stuff on the sand, now to heat your coal buy a began bharta grill which cost 100 rs and place 5 coal briquettes and heat it on the gas for 5 minutes, repeat with another 5 briquettes, place briquettes close to each other, now put the fire in the base which kept ready on the sand diya bati + camphor + small wood pieces and quickly place the coal grill over fire and start putting your briquettes. Now you are all ready to cook.
