I really never expected a headphone to take such a step backward. When you are reading reviews please keep in mind that headphones aren’t just about the sound quality. While these headphones sound find, their fit is extremely bad. It takes a long time to put them on and a long time to take them out. I tried all the buds possible but there is no simple way to wear these headphones. I almost felt like I was going mad that I just can’t put them right. Headphone should never have to be built this way. Just awful

Likes:
1. It has a cable. A detachable cable. The only reason I bought these is because Bose doesn’t make wired earphones anymore.
2. The price is right
Dislikes:
1. The short cable – you need an extension if what you are connecting to is even an arm’s length away (mostly because the cables that connect to the drivers route behind the ears which chews up a lot of cable length).
2. Too much fiddling to get the fit right. So much so that in between calls, I just leave them in and disconnect the cable from the extension cable. I am a musician and am used to in-ears, so shame on me for buying that style for work (Zoom meetings). Wired earphones (that actually sound better than tin cans and string) are hard to find.
3. Eye glasses do not fit well with cables routing behind the ears.
4. If you have a string of back-to-back meetings, these begin to hurt (I even went down to the smallest earpiece inserts)

At first I hated these, almost sent back. Based on how I wore my previous Shure SE112 earbuds, these seemed angled in the opposite direction of my ear canal.
What wasn’t clear to me is, about the last 3 inches of wire are bendable and retain their shape, you are meant to bend these around your ear. Insert the earbuds first. They are labelled L and R. Stick em all the way in there. The part of the cable that plugs into the earbud is meant to stick UP, so the cable can wrap around the top of your ear and down the back, holding them secure. These seem like they’d be pretty good for running, or similar physical activity, but I have bluetooth earbuds for that because phones don’t have earphone jacks anymore. I bought this for use with my PC, for which the wrap around method is overkill, to the point of being a little annoying. Putting on and taking off these earbuds takes like 20-30 seconds (I have long hair I have to move out of the way) instead of like 3-5 seconds to put in my old ones.

These headphones sound amazing. A lot of cheaper headphones are extremely bass-heavy, which muddies out all other sounds. While the bass is a lot less punchy in these, it’s good enough, but the mids and highs come through crystal clear. The price is pretty good for the sound quality, and the in-line microphone and volume controls work fantastic on my laptop and phone.
The big downside (and why I took a star off) is comfort. These headphones are weirdly designed. They angle upwards so the cable comes out of the top, wraps around your ears, then goes down behind your head. It’s a bizarre design choice, it takes a while to get used to adjusting the cables whenever you put them on, and you definitely feel it when they’re in. But they do come with a bunch of different tips, including memory foam ones. They’re also pretty decent at blocking out external sounds, but they’re not true noise cancelling headphones.
