I’ve used skullcandy on and off for years, and these earbuds are honestly pretty good. I used to use AirPods, but they didn’t fit in my ear very well and were generally uncomfortable. I used a mix of on and over ear headphones for a while, and when I was told by my work that I could have an earbud in while stocking shelves, I picked these up. The audio quality is great, and the battery for both the earbuds and the case is great, and USB-C for charging means most people can charge their phone and earbuds with the same cord. The mic, on the other hand, isn’t the best. You need to talk pretty loudly for the mic to mic up anything, and when it does, it’s low-quality. If someone calls while you’re wearing these, don’t even bother keeping them in, just take them out and pick up the call.
There’s also a button on each earbud, but beyond playing and pausing your music, I honestly wouldn’t bother using it. The button also get dirty easily, so clean it when you can.

Overall, I’d give these a 7/10. They do what they’re meant to, and that’s play audio, and that’s what matters. No crazy gimmick, but also nothing that makes them stand out from the rest in any major way. And sometimes, that’s a good thing.

The Sesh Evos have a few main problems to them
    1. You have to charge them upright or else they won’t charge
    2. There are times where even when they are upright and they don’t charge. You have to mess with them till the light on them turns red, indicating they are charging
    3. The right earbud doesn’t hold a charge as well as the left. For some reason, after letting them charge for countless hours and both say they are at 100% the right ALWAYS dies before the left. The left dies 30 – 45 minutes later

    Now some Cons
    1. They will scream “BATTERY LOW” in your ear most times, even when you have the volume low
    2. They do have a mic you can use on them BUT the audio will turn to shit, it sounds like you are talking through a glass window to talk to someone on call.
    3. The Mic isn’t the best, but they are also bluetooth earbuds, so you can’t expect much
    4. If you have wet earwax, they will fall out your ears after some time. This is one of my main issues but it isn’t a major problem since it is genetic, and not a problem with the earbuds themselves

    Some Pros
    1. Wonderful sound quality for audios, when you aren’t in a call+using the mic. I use the Sesh Evos mainly for the sound quality and that’s it
    2. The case for them keeps it’s charge wonderfully, unless the earbuds are “charging” even when they are fully charged. I haven’t tested if they last 24 hrs or not but you get about 3-4 charges out of it before it dies
    3. The earbuds charge fairly quickly, they take 20-30 minutes to charge. Maybe even less, but I can have them at 100% after watching a few videos to let them charge
    4. They actually have different audio settings for different sounds. They have a setting for music and movies. They do have another option but I don’t remember it. I personally only use the music setting since the others don’t sound right, to me at least
    5. Can be fine being dropped in water (I don’t recommend testing this, this was an accident on my part) I have accidentally dropped them into the sink with running water and they still run perfectly fine. The sound isn’t different or anything. Once it dried out completely it sounded perfectly fine

Overall, Sesh Evos are a pretty solid Bluetooth Earbud. I am a die hard Skullcandy fan and have used their wired earbuds for years before switching to their Sesh Evos. Their Sesh Evos, durability wise are amazing, but they do collect earwax quite fast. They sound amazing besides on call while you are using the mic. If you are on a Discord call and you use them for audio but use a different mic they still sound amazing, and you can hear the person clearly.

I bought these earbuds about 3 months ago and I have been using them for anywhere between 6-8 hours on a daily basis. Here is my review
SOUND QUALITY: These earbuds sound really well for their price. You can tell that care was made while crafting them. It is great for most pop, rap, jazz, blues stuff but can also handle rock and metal pretty well.
BATTERY LIFE: The earbuds, on their own, can used upto 6 hours while the case has a 30 hour of battery backup. This is more than enough for most people as people who need an audio device for personal amplification for longer periods of time will use headphones.
BLUTOOTH CONNECTIVITY: This is the biggest problem I have with this device. The Bluetooth connection of the earbuds is rapid, but is often prone to disconnection. Plus, if you are listening to songs on a streaming service with a poor internet connection (E.g, weak mobile data), good luck enjoying the full song as the earbuds will keep disconnecting and reconnecting for about 15 seconds but the song still continues (Imagine it as a song with 15 seconds of the audio muted at random locations in the song.) However, this issue has never come up when using a stable internet connection, so make of that what you will.
CHARGING: The charging for the earbuds is extremely fast. In about 10 minutes, the buds can work for about 2 hours. The only issue I have noticed with this is that the buds don’t automatically charge when you place them back in the case unless the buds are at 0% capacity. To charge them with some battery left in the buds, you would need to place the buds back into the case and press a button on the case. HOWEVER, there is no information given on what sequence to press the button or how many times to press the button on the box or on the internet, so I spend the majority of time just trying random combinations until I see the light indicator on the case slowly fade away by one level (This is the indication that the buds inside the case are charging). This is extremely annoying as it consumes too much time. (If I am doing something wrong and there actually is a way to do it without any hassle, please let me know.)

Value for money: I bought this pair for about 4.2k, which seems like a lot, but is is valid for the quality of the sound and the ease of connectivity. However, personally, due to the issues stated above, I do not think that they are worth what I paid for them.

TLDR: A good sounding earbuds, with some issues which can be annoying on a long run.

Had the jib 2s for close to a year, but because of a little inattention, I lost them. I had a good experience with them and I wanted to have a daily at work wireless in-ear headphones so I bought these.
The battery, with the NC off, are somewhat on par with my jibs, but the fact that these are about double the size and the case is at least a quarter fatter, makes me wonder where the space went.
The audio quality is good, no xm4s to be sure, but a good all-rounders. I’m no audiophile and the majority of audio on my phone are liberated audiobooks, argh! 🏴‍☠️
I like the physical buttons and the lack of sensors and gyros my xm4s come with. You need to press a button to get something done and you don’t have the problem with accidental touch on a conductive layer or your media starting or stopping when you have your earbuds in the pocket.
I hate the shape of these buds. I hate it with a passion. I think its trying too hard to find its own shape… I might be subjective. I also dislike the fact that you can’t just swap between ears. Again I’m not an audiophile and I don’t have a huge interest in the quality of the reproductive, unless its so poor it’s noticeable.
The case is bulky and nothing more to be said about it.
The water and dust resistance is very important for me and after the first day in the actual field, sun, sweat, dust and grime, they held up nicely.
The noise cancellation feature is meh to say the least. Nice that it’s there, but nothing to write home about.
The aps that you need to have the full features of the earbuds, the skullcandy app and the Tile… Fair enough… Not great, but alright.

I’ve had these for like 5 months and use them daily. I have tried a lot of wireless headphones before, from like $20 ones and to AirPods Pro. I am kind of picky and know what I want and honestly, I love these.

    Pros:
    – Battery life is awesome. I charge the case like once a week and the case keeps the earbuds charged even with daily use. They charge quickly in the case and last a long time when used (they last for hours, I don’t know exactly how long because they haven’t died on me yet). This was such a nice change after having my AirPods constantly dying on me.
    – Noise cancellation is great. TBH it’s sometimes a little too good and I have to turn it off while at work because I can’t hear when people call me.
    – They stay in my ears and don’t fall out. I have had a lot of problems with earbuds falling out when I’m like cleaning the house or moving a lot, but don’t have that problem with these.
    – App was easy to use and get setup and I was able to customize the controls for noise cancellation and forwarding and reversing, etc really easily.
    – Tile tracking is easy and really useful. I remember it being easy to setup when I first got them. I’ve never lost them in public but couldn’t find them in my own house and was able to use the Tile app to make them play a noise and was able to find them quickly (my mom was jealous because she is constantly losing her AirPods around the house).

    Cons:
    – They can be annoying to switch between devices. I am constantly switching them being connected between a MacBook, iPhone, and iPad. When I first got them switching between devices was difficult and frustrating, but I figured out the quirks and now it’s really easy. Basically, if you haven’t connected to a device before you have to turn the bluetooth off on any other devices you have connected to in range and then it’ll automatically prompt you to connect to the new device. If you are switching between devices you have connected before, as soon as you take them out of the case if you click on them from your bluetooth menu it will connect to that device – no matter what device it was last connected to. I hope that makes sense….. It’s convoluted but works great not that I have a system.

I tried these because I used normal old-fashioned Skullcandy headphones in middle school and high school in the early 2010s. I remember liking them then but had never thought of them as a wireless earbud company (nor realized they still existed). I bought my dad a different Skullcandy wireless earbud for Christmas that he likes and decided in January when my AirPods broke to try a set myself. Glad I did!

The media could not be loaded.

Below is my rating after using the earbuds for about a week.

It is only fair for me to sing high praises for this audio equipment. I have rarely come across wireless headphones which can do both audio as well as handle phone calls with ease. Either wireless headphones don’t have good audio quality, if they are designed with meeting and phone calls in mind or they don’t work well if they are designed with sound quality in mind. However, these work perfectly fine for both applications. If you are someone who is in the market for a decent pair of truly wireless earbuds, please take a minute to go through this review. I have never been this impressed with any of my audio devices.

    01 – Audio Quality

The audio is crisp and clear. I mostly listen to podcasts and I always feel that the audio quality is better than most of the other headphones I have. For this price point, these earbuds exceed my expectations on the audio quality. The bass is deep but not like a Sony. The high end is smooth like a Sennheiser. This is my second Skullcandy product and I have no complaints in this department.

    02 – Bluetooth Connections

The bluetooth connected easily to both my phone as well as to the work laptop. I can connect to only one device at a time. For meetings on the laptop, I need to disconnect from the phone. It’s just as easy as turning off BT on the phone and selecting the earbuds on the laptop. Practically takes less than 10 seconds. You can also use them individually. If you want, you can keep one bud inside the case and use only one side. Both calls and music will work normally. There is a range limit and then the audio starts to jitter or cuts off momentarily.

03 – Phone calls and Virtual Meetings

In a quiet room, with the fan on, it feels like the person is inside the room itself and is whispering in your ears. There is no distortion at all.

These are not 100% suitable for office meetings. If people around you are in meetings too then their voices will be heard on the other end. It’s a bit unfortunate.

When I use it on my walks, there is no wind noise on the other side. Sometimes the audio cuts off when there is a really strong gale blowing but there is no sound heard on the other end. Vehicle noises and crowd sounds can be heard sometimes but mostly I have had a terrific experience with walking and talking to people. I was blown away with the performance of these earbuds.

Because of the comfortable earbuds you can enjoy long conversations with your loved ones. You will definitely feel the weight but it’s not over-bearing. I can comfortably wear a beanie on top and still wear them for over an hour.

    04 – Design

Here I have a gripe with the case itself. The lid closes with a loud sound and I always feel that this might damage the case. When taking out the earbuds from the case, the lid slams down. This feels jarring and feels like I am damaging the device. I have used a Sony device and it has a soft close lid. That soft close lid feels premium and I miss it on my Skullcandy.

    05 – Battery

Like every other wireless earbuds, the earbuds get charged from the case and the case holds a larger battery. After use, I just pop the earbuds back into the case and in about 20-30 minutes they are fully charged. I read somewhere in the review section that the earbuds get charged only when they are at 0% but that is not true. Earbuds will get charged even at 80%-90% and you will have a fully charged pair for your next use. My usage was light last week, so I just charged the case once when I received the product from Amazon. After that I used them over the week for calls and some music/YouTube stuff. I would say I must have used them for approximately 20-25 hours at least. Finally, when the LED on the case was at the last light, I charged the thing again. I am mighty impressed with the battery on the earbuds themselves. I don’t have to worry if there is any charge left at all. I just have to put them back in the case for an hour or two in between heavy uses.

    06 – Active Noise Cancellation

Yes, it works. But it’s not 100% like anything else. Sounds are much more muted. It’s a good feature. But what I liked more was the “Stay Aware” feature. On our walks, it is important to be aware of our surroundings. Vehicles and people milling about on our small roads can be dangerous. I use the Stay Aware feature to keep listening to vehicle sounds behind me. It’s wonderful. I even had a full conversation with someone while listening to some 80s Synthwave. It was glorious.

    07 – Skullcandy App

Another app on your phone now to control the earbuds. You can change the equaliser from here. You can also see exactly how much charge is left in the individual earbuds. There are also guides available on how to effectively use the earbuds. It’s a good companion app for these earbuds.

    08 – Overview

Everything is fine but what is most impressive is the performance of phone calls even in loud and windy environments. You should give them a try.

tldr – Good for phone calls in loud and windy environments. The battery is adequate. Audio quality is just fine. I have no issues with these except for the design. The case lid slams shut; it does not have a soft close lid. You should buy them.

Sesh ANC is over all good product. Recommended to all. Built quality is good feels comfortable. Overall sound is decent if you are listening to music. Not to much bass, but sufficient. It has tactile buttons on both buds (not touch buttons). So you need to put little pressure to press it. ANC function works well during the call. Awareness function also works well while listening to music. Made in Vietnam.
