This is more than you could ask for at this price. It is not a normal headphone. It is pure genius in getting you details and intricacies of a mix. I am using it as my Wired TV headphones.
I know the crime and the blasphemous deed i am doing with it.
But i assure this should be every audiophiles dream budget headgear!!

Industry Standard for a reason.
Compared with my Audio Technica ATH M40X and i was spellbound by the difference. ATH is very flat which is good but doesn’t represent the low end like a pair of monitor does in a room. Sony on the other hand has much better lows. It gives you a feel of far field monitors throwing air into your face. So realistic. I didn’t feel like wearing a headphone. Felt like standing in front of some wall mounted monitors since I know how bigger monitor sounds. Very lightweight and comfortable. Mids and Highs are so good that made me smile instantly.
Cons : Handle With Care. Not at all sturdy as compared to my M40X. Feels cheap on hand but who cares if you handle well it will serve you like 10 long years.
Tip : Don’t drive loud. Pushing harder generates a little distortion which is common for headphones with lower impedance.

I was trying to write this review for very long but today when I was scrolling through Flipkart I wanted to write review for this rare Gem. It has extraordinary built quality music is terrific. Those who do not have knowledge about music please do not buy this and later give very less rating. This product is excellent in every aspect keep up good work Sony, no wonder this product still exists even after 20 years.
