If you already have earphone in 2k rs range like hifiman re400 or kz zsn, don’t expect more thinking they cost 2k but original price is higher so they must sound better. You’ll be disappointed like me. They are exactly like other 2k earphones. But if are coming from “popular” earphones with muddy bass, you might love these.

I bought these for regular use with my LG G8X and LG V20 phones. Being earphones with 64 Ohms impedance, they trigger the headphone amplifier in the phone ON and alongwith three QUAD DAC, make listening to music on these phones heavenly.
High impedance earphones are not easy to get and this pair is a steal at 2K. I have E50C also with 50 Ohms but being at the borderline, sometimes the phones fail to recognise them as high impedance whereas E80C is a sure shot, everytime I connect them. Moreover, the accessories supplied with this pair will cost much more than 2K, if purchased separately.
Finally gong about sound, they are a bit warmish but quite detailed and airy treble. Loving this pair.👍👍👍

The quality is simply superb with a proper powerful phone or device like my LG G8x.

Elements very balanced. You start hearing new elements in the sound, if you’re coming from something like Mi Dual Driver headphones, its that good. Its better than the junior E50C, although E50C sound acoustic and treble oriented in comparison. E80C is balanced.
C in the model name means it has a mic and volume controls, which earlier model didn’t have.

Also, loads of accessories in the retail package. Please check carefully if you got them all.
Since these are wired earphones, digital noise cancellation is absent. But there’re a special earbuds with foam in them, they cancel noise to a big extent.
I’ll try to add pics on getting free time..

Let me tell you that this is a good headphone but not the one you can go mad about.
Talkng about the build quality its top notch. The material is extremely good. Lots of extra ear buds provided . You need to use them to make the earphones fit perfectly.
Lets talk about the sound. My opinion is based completely its usage with lg v40 thin q.
I can assure you that you cant go beyond 60 percent of full volume for high quality audiophiles. If you do so it will blow up your eardrum. The mids are superb. Absolutely no distortion in sound even at max volume. Gives you a very balanced sound. The bass is good but lacks the punch. If you are a bass lover you might be a tad dissappointed.
I feel overall its a bit expensive. The high factor works pretry well with the quad dac of lg v40. You will find the difference just by switching the qyad dac on and off.
Overall a decent purchase but would have been more satisfied if the pricing would have been between 3 to 4 k.

I don’t need to expound on the audio quality but durability is a major issue. The plastic outer cover got cut in a few places in just a few times of use. Thereafter I kept it aside but to my surprise several more cuts have occurred thereafter. I am really careful with my things and my previous Soundmagic E10C only developed a handful of cuts after years of use. I am not gonna buy any Soundmagic product ever again.

Based on my experience on the LG V20, the earphones seem to be defective in that the mic buttons never work with or without the included adapters, but the headphone jack couldn’t even be fully plugged in the phone (with a clicking sound). That made the connection very loose and is clearly a manifacturing problem. The box it came in had some random tape on it and no instruction booklet was found. It looks like I’ve received a defective unit that was returned by someone else. The seller was at least quick enough to reply and told me to deal with Amazon, which I did. The sound was nice when there was a connection (had to keep pushing it into the jack), but I’m not taking another chance and am asking for a refund. It’s too much trouble for that price, especially after receiving a product with so many flaws!

Excellent sound quality, but pathetic build quality of the wire. It peels off over a period of time, even if you use it moderately.
Instead of giving so many accessories, please wrap the cable with good quality wire.
I have wrapped with some tape now and using it. Don’t know how long this will last.
Using with my LG G8x, can’t go more than 30 level of volume, excellent sound quality as well.

Poor build quality. I used soundmagic E10c (red) for 3 years then the wire damaged. But Soundmagic E80c wire peeled of within months.

To increase it’s life, I used wire protector ( around 300rs). See the picture.

    Best audiophile in earphones.

Don’t buy if the return Policy is not good ( It should be atleast 15 days)

Before I talk about these earphones let me clarify the specifications of my audio source.
I used 3 audio sources which are more than capable of running high impedance earphones/headphones.
    1. My smartphone i.e. LG V20.(it has a in built quad hifi dac and an excellent amp)
    2. A portable dac and amp namely Fiio Q1.
    3. My pc. Its motherborad (asus z270e with supreme FX card and dual op amps by texas instruments) is more than enough for these earphones (when connected they show the earphones impedance between 51 to 109 ohms)

What kind of audio files did I listened to?
Everything from 24 bit 192khz flac files to 128 kbps mp3 files.

These earphones are exceptionally good. I have multiple earphones eg bose in ears, shure se216, 1more triple drivers(i have reviewed it in amazon.in check it out), sennheiser monitors etc. But these are really good when compared to what they cost.
So why are people giving these earphones bad rating?
Its because they do not have a proper audio source to run these beasts.
I have listened to them with my mothers iphone and its sound bad. With poor audio source these will sound very sibilant and boomy. Its because of the impedance curve. Not all device have the power to push all frequencies properly and with these, if connected to a underpowered audio source, the mids suffers the most. So please before writing any product off make sure that you have given it a fair and square chance to perform.
    So will I reccomend this?
Yes. But only if have the proper equipment to power these earphones.
My advice. Pair these earphones with a portable dac amp combo and your perspective of music will change forever.

Edit- I recently pruchased the Fiio X1 2nd gen dap and these work very well with it. And also among all the earphones mentioned above I’m using these as my daily drivers.
Having listened to it for more than 6 months now I can surely say that these are my favourite pair of earphones. Such excellent clarity, tight bass with clear crisp highs. Mids are also very much present. These are just pure bliss to listen to. Highly recommended.
Right now they are going for 16k coz of import taxes, delivery and gst. I got it for 4.1k. Wait till Indian sellers get it back in stock. Your paitence and money will be well worth it.
