This is not a stabilizer, Don’t buy this ever. This will switch off your appliance if the voltage is low or High than the rated one. We can call this as a tripper. If you really want a stabilizer go for the Vguard stabilizer. Unable to provide less than one star. So providing one star

This is exactly what I was looking for since I travel a lot. Most of the places I visit have erratic voltage fluctuations. On one such visit, the Magsafe adapter of my Mac Book Pro went bust and it cost me Rs. 6500 to get a new replacement. This device has since been a blessing as it ensures full protection. For its price, it is a must have. I highly recommend this device. With its standard rating of 6 Amps, you can ensure the safety of most portable sensitive electronics like Smart Phones, Laptops etc.

Its almost 2 years I am using this product. It works fine & looks decent. Best fit for a LED TV + Set top box, protects against high voltage, low voltage, surges, spikes and frequency variations. Of course it cuts off when electricity goes off. It doesn’t have a battery to back up, people confuse & compare this with UPS.
It gives output if the incoming voltage is between 110v & 270v, its a filter for normal current & voltage which will cut supply below or above that band. As it stabilises the voltage between given limit w.r.t. input voltage, its a stabiliser. Anyways it will protect your sensitive TV circuit electronics & thus extending your TV life.

Writing this review after using this product for over 4 months. I am using this for my 40 inch TV and it has been working like the way it’s described. All the indicator function well. I was a bit skeptical to buy this product after reading reviews of few buyers who mentioned that the indicator has stop working and the build quality isn’t that great.. but I found the product really good and would recommend others to go for it.

Power guard is working fine from last 10 days,there is 1-3 sec delay in start which avoids sudden fluctuations ,if this would have been for more than 5-10 seconds it would have really great and reliable for fluctuations . Loved the concept.cannot be used as stabilizer for so before think for what purpose you are going to used it (power range of your equipment to match with power guard) then it is really works fine for it.

I am using two of these now for my appliances and its very handy, least obstructive for the purpose, and good one for the price.
Do note that its not like the usual stabilizers with battery that will balance the voltage. This one just automatically cuts off the power whenever the voltage is high or low.
Just like any other preventive measures and protection devices, its hard to pinpoint and say that it works. You can try switching on and off very slowly to check that your appliance won’t get any power unless its the right voltage. So, that way, yes, it works.
