Firstly, the description does not explain the unit properly, Often causing confusion and or dissatisfaction to people who buy it expecting something else.
I myself booked it, but later, after reading negative reviews thought of cancelling the order even before the delivery…
But all this changed after the delivery and trying it out for about a week (booked April last week, delivered May 2).
Second but important, this is not an room cooler, rather it’s a personal cooling solution, more suited for direct cooling or for very small cubicle spaces.
It is very small, compact and pretty sophisticated little thing. Now it’s only rated at 70watts on paper, hence can’t expect it to cool an entire room… Nope, never! But it does pretty good job as personal cooler. Sadly/(actually – luckily) three weeks after purchasing the cooler monsoon commenced and it started raining in Bangalore, but for those few weeks of usage, it did the job well… I kept it on stand next to open window directed towards the bed, and it did a decent job of keeping me cool. The water in small tank will last for 6hrs and can last longer if electronic humidity control is set. Also it is very very light and portable (1ftx1ftx2.5ft), so u can just take it where ever you want, balcony, sit-out, kitchen (yes, tried it!) etc.. Ya, I agree its a blower type and makes noise, now tell me which one doesn’t?
So be clear when you book it… If it’s a compact personal cooler that you want… This is a strong contender(albeit a bit pricey)… But you get a quality product with nice features such as remote and timer etc…also, did I mention that this thing runs off UPS or power backup without much fuss!
But If you are looking for a room cooler… This is definitely not for you…and you will be better off with larger fan based coolers.

I bought this product in spite of the mixed reviews on Amazon. It has been a great buy. Do keep in mind that this is a personal cooler for the use of one or two people and for cooling a small area.
PROs:
We placed it a couple of feet away from the couch and it has helped keep us cool in a 40+ degree summer.
The small tank size is not a problem at all, it can run for hours on one tank.
I did not face the problem of any bad smell from the cooler that some users had reported.
It is the sleekest cooler in the market and if aesthetics matter, and they must if you are considering this product at this price range, look no further.
The remote is such a superb convenience!
CONs:
It is a bit noisy, even at the slowest fan speed.
The build quality could be better. Our water tank gets stuck when sliding it back in and has to be manhandled and jiggled into place.
If you pull the water tank out too far, the pump falls out, and might get damaged if you don’t hold it in position (not an easy thing to do!) while sliding the tank back in. Symphony really needs to address this issue ASAP.

More than the product utility, my review is with regard the quality of the product. It looked like the cooler was used and re-packaged. There is a filter fitted in the water tank at the bottom of the cooler which was missing from product delivered to us. Also missing was user manual, which i confirmed from the company that there is user manual provided with the product. So overall not satisfied with the product itself.

It is same as a noisy fan.
Doesn’t lower temperature of the air enough. Makes lot of noise even on slow speed.

Got it delivered today. I must say this is a good quality product. I would like to mention couple of points on this product:
1) Someone said tank will get emptied in 3 hours (using some 3rd standard maths). Bro, this is not as simple as that. With EHC in place a completely filled 9 liter tank easily goes upto 6.5-7 hours. I have experienced it.
2) In any air cooler you should keep all your windows open for cross ventilation. Otherwise humidity of the room will increase due to water particles coming out of the cooler. So always keep your windows open while running the cooler to get max cooling out of it.
3) Noise, yeah noise will be there in any air cooler, similar to window ac. But it is not unbearable. For lesser noise one must use a split ac.
4) Last but not the least, air coolers work better in a dry condition, means where humidity in air is less. So if you are staying in a humid area, better opt for an air conditioner.
All in all this is a good quality air cooler for a 12*12 room.

Water leakage is there, apart from that all good

I have bought this product on 3rd march 2017 and even before end of march I got the following issues
1. Issues with its foam. It kind of degraded itself I don`t know how. I could not even clean up as if you try to lift it, it breaks and water gets contaminated. See the attached photos.
2. Its water tank lock is very very tight, It seemed like it will cause injury to my hand while trying to open or close the lock for water tank.
3. If I remove the water tank to clean or fill with water then I can not directly insert the tank someone has to hold the water motor from other side before I can insert the water tank. Problem is every time I fill it I face this issue. hence I need 2 persons every time to fill the water tank.
4. Inserting the water tank is very difficult, its not smooth. hence if the tank is full it often results in spilling the water outside the tank when I try to insert it.
5. compared to its price the area it cools is very small. Please have a look at the attached screenshot for actual window of the cooler.
Even though there are some plus points like timer and remote but compared to everyday hassle and the area it cools at this price range of 6591 rs is not worth it.
