I’m writing this review after 2 months of using my truke buds q1. I was initially just ignoring these buds thinking of them as some cheap product and considered buying any other tws. My budget was of about 2k. Then I gave this a try and I’m really impressed with the experience I’m getting. If u are reading this, u already must be knowing all the features these buds provide, so I would like to talk about my experience with these instead of the features.
These r my first pair of truely wireless earbuds. Before this I was using sony Xbass wired earphones for last 3-4 yrs. Shifting to this, the only difference I noticed was that the bass can’t be compared to what sony offered but keep in mind they were double in cost compared to these.
Easy to connect, light weight, decent audio and bass, very good battery life (I use them for 9-10 hrs daily and it easily gets me through 6 days with case once charged to 100%), in all a great value for money.
It’s a perfect buy if u are entering the world of tws earbuds for the first time.
If u have already used something better than this in tws category, than u many knitpick some cons about it but the price these are available at masks the all cons u can think of.

Cons (what I could notice):
1. average call quality (the person on the other side of the call sometimes complaints of poor audio quality and low volume). But I didn’t mind this personally because I preffer talking on phone instead of earphones in general.
2. The silicon eartips are not that great. So I replaced them with the extras provided with my sony wired earphones.
3. Gaming mode works excellent and there is no lag felt with it turned on but the one thing I noticed is that u cannot turn on the gaming mode when only one earbud is connected. U have to take both the earbuds out of the case and then tap thrice on any one of them to turn on game mode. When only one earbud is out, then tapping thrice turns on music mode but I don’t know what it does exactly.
4. This has occured only once in 2 months but I need to mention this. The case showed 20-25% battery left and after 5 -10 mins, it went dead. I plugged it to charging and it started charging from 0%. This must be some kind of bug and I was already at the end of 6th day without charging so it didn’t bother me much.

Also, a funny incident happened and its not a con. I was using these buds one day and I tried to change my t-shirt ( I almost forgot they were in my ears) and the left one fell while changing, hit the gound and the outer plastic of the earbud came out. I got scared at first, picked it and put the plastic piece back and to my surprise everything working just fine (even the touch response). No damage done what so ever. I’m 6 feet tall so that’s a good enough height for something to fall and stop working.

If u’re looking for a budget tws earbuds, then go for it. You won’t regret.

Connectivity at times disconnects not that clear when on phone calls.

So here’s what I think about this product.

Asthetically it’s quite decent, the built quality is good, the case feels nice, display gets the job done, fits easily in your pocket and ergonomically fits in your ear, has type c charging so you need not carry an extra charger.

Now let’s get down to the sound.
The output is quite clear, the drivers are balanced to give you consistent output for higs,mid & low.
The bass punch is quite descent, it will give you the effect you require. It starts in smooth, and fades away just as easy… It does not pack a skull shattering punch which in my opinion is quite good. The music keeps u wanting you for more n dosent stress out your ear drums. I’ve tried it out with rock music, rap and finally classical. I must say I was quite pressed over its versatility over this wide range.

The connectivity is excellent, plug n Play, range is not a problem. The touch gestures are superb. You might feel a small lag at times but that can easily be ovecome in “Game mode”.

The call calling quality is also quite good at both sending and receiving. The ENC mode could have been better as people on the other end can hear my background noises at a distant. This infact proves that these buds have an excellent mic. The loudness of the earphones is quite a bit, you cannot listen to it over 80%…. But for those of you who like to blast out high, no worries as there is very little distortion at loud noises.

Battery life is also quite good, offcourse I didn’t run it for 10 hrs at a stretch but about 3 hrs of useage drained just 20 % power, so it sums up right.

A couple of things that bothered me are that the headphones does not have wear detection, the music does not autostart / stop upon placing the buds in uour ears. Also my ears start hurting after a while, that’s not a design flaw, it’s just that my ears hurt for most plug in headphones. The biggest flaw I find is that the touch sensors are too good, you will accidently end up cutting a call when u reach up to adjust your headphones. The warrenty is just 6 months, could do better with a year as most others do so. Lastly it’s made in China, why can’t we make ones in India??? afterall even BOSE has Indian origins.

To summarise, this is an excellent piece of hardware for its given cost. It can definately put some other expensive ones on guard for their spot. You may purchase these buds without a moment of hesitation. You will not be dissapointed.
