Despite its advertised Thunderbolt 4 port promising seamless external display connectivity and power delivery, the Acer laptop fails to deliver. Unlike its competitors, such as MacBook, Dell, and Samsung, thunderbolt connection to external display does not work consistently and also cannot provide power. This significant limitation greatly impacts usability, particularly me who rely on these features. I advise prospective buyers to conduct thorough research before purchasing, especially on connectivity part. Personally, I’m seeking a refund due to unmet expectations or would have to sell it at loss given my purpose is not solved.
Additionally, the sound quality is notably low for a laptop, which is disappointing for multimedia users.

First of all, I have to say the GO edition by Acer is a really good one for my personal and professional needs. So far my time with this new laptop is great and I, ‘m having a great time operating the compact device. Flipkart delivered this product on time and the delivery associate opened the box in front of me gracefully. Details observations regarding the key areas are listed below:
Design and Build: the metal body looks great and feels premium and the weight distribution is good and comfortable for longer use.
Display: The panel is great for the visual experience, the 14-inch touch panel is responsive and the colors are immersive and soothing for your eyes. I enjoy watching content and gameplay with this new panel.
Performance: The specs are great on paper and the performance is good so far in my daily use. With multiple web browsers and apps, the opening is never an issue you can do things flawlessly. The GPU performance is good in multitasking.
Gaming: With Intel EVO inside and 16 GB RAM the overall gaming is good but I see some frame drop in Asphalt 9 with my game time.
Keyboard and touchpad: The keyboard quality is good and backlit lights look great and the typing experience is good so far. The touchpad is large and precision points are tuned appropriately to give the user a good experience.
Connectivity: Flawless with an advanced wifi chipset that easily connects and delivers good speed.
Software: Windows 11 Home works smoothly and a couple of Acer apps work well with new AI features. Useful for editing and making new projects.
Battery: Charging time is fast with a quick charger and the battery backup is decent and easily gives you 4 – 5 hours of usage in a single charge.
Webcam: Takes good quality photos and HDR option is available for better outputs in video calls.
Sound: The speaker sound is low compared to other laptops. May be adequate for indoor areas but low in outside noisy environments.
Overall it’s a Good package for someone like me who wants a small compact laptop with solid hardware and I’m happy with the overall performance.

Overall, the laptop is very good in terms of looks, design, and performance. However, the only drawback is that it heats up significantly, and due to its metal body, the lower part of the laptop feels excessively hot, almost like a burning fire. Consequently, it cannot be comfortably used by placing it on your lap.
