works well but There is some problem regarding PM 2.5 indicator ,its jump from 45 to 250-300 in a second and then back to yellow and green ….\nBit noisy at high fan speed

Cons\nPM 2.5 count very rarely goes below 30. Not sure about other purifiers.\nAir intake doesn’t seem to be powerful.\nAir output vents position seems to be not good and the purified air is being released to back side of the purifier.\nDisplay off feature is setting the fan speed to lowest level.\nNot able to recognize any visible difference in quality of the air.\n\nPros\nBrand\nBuild Quality

I ordered blue star Airpurifier BS-AP-490LAN through Flipkart. I have scheduled a delivery & got the purifier on scheduled date. air purifier was well packed & recieved a sealed pack purifier. I was bit confused on day 1 when I started using this purifier because it’s pm 2.5 meter reading was fluctuating & has huge difference in a short time. I logged a complain in blue star & also raise a return request to Flipkart. when I received a call from technical team I got convinced as the fluctuations was due to it’s sensAir technology. it detect each & every particle from air. this sensor is very sensitive & working as by design. finally after using it for whole week I felt that this purifier working well as I can see huge dust particles got trapped in pre filter. for me pm 2.5 meter don’t matter as it is cleaning the air which is visible & can see lot of dust on it’s filters. i have read many review & did some reasearch lot of people complain about pm 2.5 meter reading is not stable in other brands purifier as well. overall it’s a good product. later I changed my mind & cancelled the return request.

The purifier does its job well. Pros: The display is good. Cons: Fan is a bit noisy at high speed. The purification takes some time. The manual is composed very poorly, the contents as also, the language is pathetic. In case of power out, the purifier does not restart when power is restored.
