It ran well for 1 year without any issues. There upon we have been getting issues continuously. Majorly P6 error. The technicians refilled gas , checked core, checked power , changed PCB board, changed capacitor but still the error is coming and ac is not working. Technicians are yet to figure out the reasons.
I am now regretting for buying this AC as my family is suffering in summer season .i should hv bought better brand by paying Rs.10-15 K extra.
Now God only can provide solution.

i bought carrier ac 1.5 ton on 5 th may 05.05.2021 the product was very good installation done by the next day itself 06.05.2021. the carrier company service was excellent perfect installation they have charged 2580 including out door unit stand. They have taken 2 hours only for installation. thank you amazon and seller.

Installation Note:
The installation guy will ask you to get a stand or other accessories , Dont just blindly say yes….the drain pipe and other charges are costly …so one star less for it, Else it deserves 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you consider the AC it’s good, the brand it belongs to is the pioneer in AC manufacturing, the inventor of the Air-conditioning as we know it.
But one small problem (feature as suggested by Carrier) I am facing is the Anti-Mildew feature.
Now this feature actually means that the ac after being switched off will keep on running for some time (7 to 10 mins) on low energy so as to remove any moisture present in the Indoor Unit hence avoiding any chances of MilDew (a fungi kind of a thing). It’s a good feature on the ac for a longer perspective but as an immediate user, it ends up being a disadvantage as this feature tends to heat up the whole room (not hot but back to room temperature) and in case you think of using the timer feature to turn off the ac in the middle of the night, you are bound to get up due to the heated up room.
Hence if you are thinking that you will turn the ac off as the room cools and use fan later. Nope this is not the AC for you.
The swing function on the ac especially the louver does not come as low as many ACs do. Hence it is suggested to install the AC on the farther side from the bed to get the most.
The AC is quite Silent once the room is cooled the Auto matic fan speed feature is quite good.
Installation was done in a haste and not properly , thumbs down for that.
After sales service has been prompt, thumbs up for that.
No remote stand accompanied with the remote. And the remote itself is as big as a TV remote. Not an issue as such, still noticeable.
Comes with long wiring both from IDU to ODU and from ODU for socket.

As you all know Carrier is the King of AC, I have been using a Carrier unit for last 8 years that is still performing well which made me to shortlist this one. The previous one had a silent indoor unit whereas outdoor unit was noisy. But the new one is silent (both indoor and outdoor units), cooling rate is good and fast. Installation was good, some features like service reminder are available in AC. Follow on and sleep mode are useful. Overall a good product.

The ac was installed same day by carrier installation service engineer. But the ac is not giving cooling. It showing some compressor malfunction even service engineering took the plag of the ac with them with out informing us and set the ac directly with the wires. Really disappointed with the service. No recommended to buy from Amazon.
